2022 Christmas Parade Registration Form

The City of Hurricane Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022 starting at 4:00 pm.

*Parade lineup will be just past Hurricane Middle School, at Hurricane Bridge Park.
*The parade will end at First Baptist Church on Main Street.
*Parade Lineup: 3:00 pm
*Parade Start Time: 4:00 pm

IMPORTANT: Please read all of the following Parade Policies before registering.

  • Parade theme: A Candyland Christmas
  • Entry is free, but please register no later than December 7, 2022.
  • IMPORTANT: If you are organizing a large group (dance class, team or other group), PLEASE meet at a different location and arrive at lineup at the same time. It gets very difficult to manage traffic and keep everyone safe when dozens of parents are coming by to drop off their children while we are trying to line up the parade.
  • Please do not plan to line up before 3:00 pm. We will not be ready for you before that time.
  • You will not be allowed to park and leave a vehicle at the lineup area. Plan ahead to be dropped off if you’re not driving your vehicle in the parade. If you feel you must leave a vehicle, you could park at Hurricane Middle School and walk down to the lineup.
  • When you arrive, event staff will let you know where you will be placed. Please have your parade vehicle ready to get into the lineup upon arrival. If you need to make finishing touches to your décor you may do that once you’re in line.
  • We LOVE when our entries are decorated for the theme. Please decorate your float, vehicle and participants as much as possible so that we can have a very festive parade.
  • Please DO NOT include someone dressed as Santa in your group. If you do, the person will be asked to change chothes or exit the parade lineup, and your group may not be allowed to participate in future parades. We have an official Santa at the end of the parade.
  • Please have patience with City staff and volunteers during the lineup process. Assume that everyone is doing their best to ensure a great parade for our community.
  • Once the parade begins, you must keep up with the group in front of you. Do not allow big gaps to form and do not stop to perform. A slow steady pace makes the parade a much more enjoyable experience for everyone!
  • Keep in mind the parade will END at First Baptist Church on Main Street. Please make a plan in advance for your group at the end and understand that there will be some traffic congestion.
  • Please keep this list of policies with you for future reference and share it with others in your group.
  • You will receive an email with details a few days before the parade, so please include an email address that you check regularly.
